Early Career and Contributions

Carl's journey into role-playing games began in 1980 when friends introduced him to the hobby through "Keep on the Borderlands." This experience ignited a lifelong passion for RPGs. He started his professional career with freelance design work for White Wolf Publishing and Dungeon magazine.
